GET Started $25 Bonus Promotion
 
  1. Eligibility: The GET Started $25 Bonus Promotion is open to Washington State residents (either the account owner or the student beneficiary must be a Washington State resident). Student beneficiaries must be 18 years old or younger. Promotional contribution is eligible for new GET accounts with a new student beneficiary during the promotion period. An account owner may open a new account and qualify for the bonus deposit with more than one student beneficiary (multiple children), provided the student is not a beneficiary on an existing GET account. An account owner can open one GET account each for a maximum of five (5) new beneficiaries. Maximum one account per student beneficiary. The following are excluded from this offer: Employees of Washington Student Achievement Council, its committee members, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, (collectively the “Employees”); any persons directly involved with the management of WA529 Education Savings Plans; TIAA-CREF Tuition Financing, Inc. (TFI) and its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, owners, members, directors, managers, officers, employees, trustees, agents, their respective immediate family members (spouse, domestic partner, parents, legal guardians, grandparents, grandchildren, siblings, children and “step” of each) and those individuals living in their same household are not eligible to participate in this promotion. The promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Promotion is void where prohibited by law. 
  2. Agreement to Rules: By participating, the Enrollee (“You”) agrees to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules and General Terms and Conditions for all WA529 Promotions, and You represent and warrant that You and/or your student beneficiary meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of the Washington Student Achievement Council as final and binding as they relate to the content of this promotion. 
  3. Promotion Period: This promotion is available to attendees of the WA529 Essentials webinar and begins at 12:00 p.m. PT on February 26, 2026, and will expire at 11:59 p.m. PT on March 26, 2026. The Promotion will end earlier if GET receives 300 eligible new accounts, whichever occurs first. Please check the WA529 Promotions webpage at 529.wa.gov/promotions for potential updates to the promotion period. 
  4. Open a GET Account: Be one of the first 300 eligible new accounts to successfully open a GET Account Online, using the promotion code provided during the webinar, for a new student beneficiary (application submitted and accepted) and make an initial deposit in any amount. Maximum one (1) GET account per student beneficiary. Enrollment must be completed by 11:59 p.m. PT on March 26, 2026, and before 300 eligible new accounts are opened, whichever comes first. 
  5. Awarding the Bonus Contribution: One $25 bonus contribution per student/child beneficiary. The $25 contribution will be deposited into eligible GET accounts on or before June 30, 2026. Units must be held in a GET account for a minimum of two years (24 months) before they are eligible for use. In the event of a refund or rollover request, WA529 reserves the right to retain contributions in an account made by WA529 that were a result of a Washington Student Achievement Council/WA529-sponsored promotion. 
  6. Odds: There are no odds or elements of chance associated with this promotion. All accounts opened and confirmed eligible by the WA529 GET Prepaid Tuition Plan during the specified Lunch and Learn or Webinar promotional periods (up to a limit of 300 new eligible accounts) will receive the $25 bonus contribution. 
  7. Selection and Notification: Official notification may be sent to each eligible participating GET account owner on or before June 30, 2026, at the email provided at the time of enrollment. Washington Student Achievement Council shall have no liability for the account owner’s failure to receive email notices due to spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for the participant’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the participant cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to complete the required designated actions by 11:59 p.m. PT on March 26, 2026, the promotional contribution will automatically be forfeited. Receipt by participant of the promotional contribution offered in this promotion is conditioned upon compliance with any and all program rules; and federal, state, and local laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY A PARTICIPANT (AT WASHINGTON STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT COUNCIL’S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION AS ONE OF THE 300 NEW ELIGIBLE ACCOUNTS (for this promotion or campaign), AND ALL PRIVILEGES/PROMOTIONAL CONTRIBUTIONS WILL BE TERMINATED. 
  8. How to Claim Promotion Contribution(s): When opening a GET account, the account owner must provide the promotion code with all required information and complete the required initial contribution at the time of enrollment; including the legal name, date of birth, contact information, and Social Security/Tax Identification number for themselves as the account owner, the student beneficiary, and an account owner survivor. A valid email and phone number are also required for the GET account owner and the account owner survivor. The student beneficiary must have a new active GET account by 11:59 p.m. PT on March 26, 2026. Promotional units are subject to a minimum 2-year (24-month) wait period before use and may be subject to forfeiture in the event of a refund or rollover request. Any taxes and other costs associated with the Promotion are solely the responsibility of the recipient and/or beneficiary.
