Office of the State Treasurer - Financial Education Program

The Financial Education Program of the Office of the State Treasurer provides Washingtonians with knowledge and access to resources with the objective to empower its communities and individual citizens in their personal finances.  The program conducts regular financial empowerment related events and workshops throughout the year, and is committed to its partnerships in promotion of several initiatives for the State of Washington.

Financial Education Public-Private Partnership (FEPPP)

FEPPP was created by the legislature to bring public and private stakeholders together to improve and advocate for financial education in Washington schools and communities by providing teacher trainings and quality resources such as this tool to modify lessons that make them more inclusive to all students.

Program for Early Parent Support (PEPS)

PEPS helps parents connect and grow as they begin their journey into parenthood. Their parent support programs educate, inform and create community. WA529 partners with PEPS to provide college planning resources to parents across the state of Washington.

Department of Financial Institutions (DFI)

The Washington State Department of Financial Institutions (DFI) regulates and examines a variety of state chartered financial services. The Department also provides education and outreach to protect consumers from financial fraud.
